About Us
We make things for people who care about how things are made. Founded in 2010 by the husband and wife team of Roy Katz and Tanya Fleisher, Winter Session designs and manufactures a full range of functional, high quality, unisex canvas and leather carry goods.
Our small team of artisans utilizes traditional craft techniques like hand stitching and beveling and newer technologies like laser cutting and industrial machine sewing to produce the entire Winter Session product range in our own storefront workshop in Denver, CO.
Combining functionality, durability, and visual appeal, our bags, wallets, cases, and wearables have a refined utilitarian aesthetic. They’re accessories that work with you and for you, and look great while doing so. We make things that you can -- and will want to -- depend on for years to come.
A peek inside our shop and process
This summer we had the opportunity to share a little bit of our design philosophy and workshop process, along with a sneak peek of our latest projects (including our waxed canvas Bike Pannier prototype). We hope you enjoy this vignette of our team and our workshop in action.
Thanks to the Denver Flea, Velorama, Winton Media and Milk & Honey Media for including us in this video series!
